This minor group includes civil, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and chemical engineers. They are employed by governments; engineering, consulting, construction, and communications companies; power-generating utilities; a wide range of manufacturing, processing and transportation industries; and government, research and educational institutions; or they may be self-employed.
