This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in manufacturing nonwoven fabrics, by bonding and/or interlocking fibres. Mechanical, chemical, thermal and solvent methods, and combinations thereof, are used. Establishments classified in this industry may finish the fabrics that they manufacture.
